here is a picture of our gear assembly being featured in a poster. Coastal Enterprises will have this on display in their booth @ ISA. I'll be stopping by to hang out for a while.
we have a UV Flatbed now, so no we don't.... back in the day, we'd print on cheap vinyl with cheap over lam and stick to coroplast. Why laminate? ever stuck and unlaminated print in the trunk of a car for a day?
When I was 18 I went to a local sign shop to buy a little bit of yellow vinyl for my motorcycle. The lady there charged me $20.00 for what I now know cost her 50 cents. I don't want to be that lady.... Or a lady at all... :) That person you rip off today could be that $20,000 customer...
thank you... I'm having a blast...
Once again, you guys all need to get to Dan Sawatzky's workshop. I owe him a great deal for getting me started down this path.
yard signs??? we take them straight off the roland and laminate. it won't hurt a thing. 24 hour outgas is essential on wrap vinyl.... not a must on the cheap stuff.
Thanks! this was a fun one. The finishes turned out better than I even imagined.
Zx - we use epoxy clay / putty to fill in any dings and then sand flat after it cures. I have used the stuff from Reynolds, Apoxie, and Magic Scuplt. They wall work about the same.
Btw... If you want to see step by step processes on our signs, head over to http://www.synergysign.com/blog
I post 3 to 4 times a week and try to hit as many steps as possible.
ahhh yes.... I forgot their parent co. decided to consolidate brands. I knew it was coming but had not happened yet as of my last order. Good stuff anyways!
