yeah that'll be more than enough. make sure on the install that their system is not essentially making a sail though. without that, you may have a shredded banner, especially in inclement weather. wind slits may help there.

coworker did that with a new brand of mesh. hemmed it with the backer on and made a big ol mess.

either you need a printer with a setup to accommodate ink overspray and blow thru, like one of the newer hp latex machines, or bite the bullet and get pre lined mesh. I've never heard of someone only applying backer to existing mesh, especially if it is not their own product. sorry man

Any current users have any feedback on using the machine in a working production environment? I hear sales people and HP reps talk it up as awesome. But no end user feed back makes me worry.

no that absolutely sounds like a bag issue. could be the filter. check the hoses!!! if there is a kink in the line that can do it!!! happened to me last year. when you open the box, if the collar for the cap is not above the cardboard where it should be the hose can kink when you go upside down...

agree with colorado. or rip? also is there vertical banding? i have had it happen where our carriage system(wheels n bearings) wore out and was causing color shifting like that. super trippy and super annoying. had to have the whole assy replaced.

is it only on photo and photo plus or is it every print mode? also damn what're you printing that needs that kind of resolution??

look into anti graffiti lam. holds up much better over time, works the same when used as a dry erase with much less ghosting
