  1. fellers platinum packages

Accent Signage are the individuals who own the patent on Raster Braille, might be what's triggering the "accent wraps" familiarity in your head.
  2. Should you fire this employee?

I'd let him go, sad to hear of his plight, but when it's all said and done, he thought it was easier to steal from you than asking you for help.
  3. Nuke the Fax?

Nope, quite a few miles away, Wendover.
  4. Nuke the Fax?

I think I only pay like $5 or $10 for what they call a "teen line". Basically I have one single phone line, but two phone numbers, when someone dials my fax number it uses "distinctive ring", which is kind of self describing, a different style of ring is sent to the phone. I use a device I...
  5. Black Friday deals!

I believe Walmart is selling the Cricut for $188! Excellent chance to break into the sign business!
  6. Moving from Florida to Utah

Unsure about Vernal, Salt Lake gets quite a bit of snow. Where I live in Utah (Wendover) we get a little bit of snow, but it rarely sticks, but we are kind of protected by mountains and stuff, I80 30 miles east or west of us can get very nasty though.
  7. ok i'm lost, is there a 3651RA?

Believe there's only: 3165RA (general purpose - calendered) 3551RA (lower end wrap - "high perf" calendered) and 3951 (higher end wrap - "high perf" cast)
  8. A Couple Lobby Posters & Flyers

I like both designs, I think the Fireproof one is the better design of the two as far as colors/contrast/etc. As for improvements, I can only recommend a few minor tweaks: You may want to remove the text below the "Fireproof" movie logo though, as it's really hard to read against that...
  9. Will a ethernet hub work?

Many wireless routers have 4 LAN ports on them, and it's probably best to just plug it into one of those (unless you have another router set up behind the wireless one), otherwise go with a switch so as not to end up with two different networks. Just be sure you don't accidentally buy another...
  10. Worlds first shipment of Non Toxic Vinyl

As a side note, just because you have non toxic banner material doesn't mean you're compliant with the CPSC/CPSIA/HR40. Luckily since I don't think banners are intended for children's use, it's a non point for a strictly sign shop, but as someone who owns a DTG printer, the act pretty much...
  11. Worlds first shipment of Non Toxic Vinyl

There's an article in the current issue of Sign Builder Illustrated talking about the new Latex printer.
  12. super cool time waster - sketch

Reminds me of some graffiti sites my brother used to visit. They even had shared canvas's and crap on some of them.
  13. Hard Drive partitioning?

Partitioning your apps separate from your OS shouldn't really affect speed noticeably, it may actually do the reverse as the data may be further away from the OS now and the drive will have to constantly move back and forth when launching apps. In days of old, it was recommended to have the...
  14. billboard quality and cutting

+1 to Pat's suggestion. Copy the profile, then right click on your new copy, go to Media Characteristics, select Cutting, then "Enable Cutting".
  15. Corel X4......No EPS save?

Tried Export? (File, Export) Saving and Exporting are considered two different things and will have a different list of filetypes and options, even though what you want as a result may be the same (the file saved as another file type).
  16. Print resolution differences on Roland printers

I have little stickers that I printed out with my SP300V for attaching to the back of small signs that I make, has my company name, address, and phone number. Their dimensions are: 2"x0.5", 10 point arial, 3 lines of text, and look good. Haven't gone much smaller than that though.
  17. Voids in cut lines with VersaWorks

Attached a photo showing how I set my default EPS Margin.
  18. Bloching??

Could be a variety of things, first thing that springs to my mind would be the heater's off and the material is cold, this can cause the ink to kind of pool on some materials. A picture would help us determine more though :)
  19. text boarder

Both of the above! Contour will create an actual vector shape, however does not allow for rounded edges or the like. Outlines will let you do things such as rounded edges, dashed patterns, etc. Dunno bout 12, but in 13 you can convert the outline to a vector if needed, although sometimes...
  20. Involved Computer Question ? ? ?

More than likely the whole reason for this process is the individual doesn't know how to install the OS and is too afraid to try. In such case, shipping the computer is the only surefire way, however even then there are some complications that could come up, first of all the cost to ship...
