Unless you have a specific need that requires in-house printing (e.g. same day rush printing) it's not worth the headache or expense in small volume. You need to print at least 1k sq.ft. per month on wide format to justify a solvent printer and keep it "healthy" by printing almost every day...

Hi all! My 1 year old S80600 sometimes stops mid print and throws an error "Circuit Error D26E" or "Circuit Error D269". It happens intermittently, maybe once or twice per week. I couldn't find anything online related to those error codes, but I did reach out to the dealer (no reply yet)...

What others have said. clear app tape works a lot better than paper. Squeegee it really well and roll it up face out on a tube. At my shop I have a spare laminator that I use for transfer tape. It's more consistent than trying to squeegee everything out by hand. Very high pressure. Also...

As a general rule, tell all agencies to eff off. Most of these companies hire teenagers, backed up by ridiculous contracts so the owners have less to worry about. These guys know nothing about what they're asking you to do (and it's unlikely they even read the terms of the contract they pasted...

How clean / crisp are your registration marks? I've had that problem before, and it was due to the reg mark bein' a little too fuzzy in places. Come to find out my print profile wasn't optimized. Recalibrating solved it. (hopefully it's an easy fix like that)

Probably no mask, but also consider how much ink is in your print, and whether or not it has "really" outgassed. High coverage dark inks make the vinyl more pliable -- more likely to stretch / skew. If your graphic needs really accurate positioning (e.g. it has a border), it might be worth...

^ this. The learning curve is real. It's not as simple as attaching plastic to an engraver bed and hitting "plot". A typical ADA sign involves multiple materials and different cutting / drilling bits for each one (plus loading/unloading, calibrating each tool every time you swap bits)...
