I have noticed...the blade in the holder is a compression hold...i have seen it just drop during cutting...I thought maybe a different tolerance of blades...I ended up putting extra emphasis on using the white nylon insertion tool and really pushing hard when installing a new blade...I know it's...

I vote data merge thru indesign as mentioned above....
but as a fall back and if its simple and you just gotta stay in illustrator...try the threaded text in illustrator ....
in the OptiScout program...output to device...window opens for you to set this info...park position X and Y...
Go to WinCNC...move your beam where you would like it to park....enter the X/Y coordinates from WinCNC into OptiScout.
