Yikes! This is what I was worried about. Yet, I just now got an email from Steven Tu at Roland saying that "the printer will still prompt you when the ink runs out." Hmmmm

Did your files do the exact same thing, with the blue & yellow ghosting?

The file has since been deleted as the customer changed their mind on the wording, but I wonder if the issue is in the fact that I had applied an RGB black to the lettering as opposed to CMYK?

Thanks. Yup, I'm aware of that one. There's three factors which have prevented me from buying a laminator: 1) All of the horror stories I've read, as you outlined above. 2) I'm not a high-production shop (one man show). 3) I don't comfortably have the space for a laminator.
