just tell them the truth but try to let them know when they place their order not after it's late. we are experiencing issues with many materials. some because of the shipping companies and some because the manufacturers are backed up and short staffed...good times
yeah UPS told us a couple weeks ago no guarantees on next day shipments but the good part is they will still charge you and take your money for next day deliveries
:confused::jr:
95% of the time the extra rollers aren't needed. at least that's been my experience.
we have 5 rolands and i very rarely have an issue. if and when i do then i add the extra rollers
i only have that issue when i print/use the white ink. definitely check ink settings and or updates but one way to get out of it is only use the 2 end rollers, don't use the manual rollers you add on. i only use the add on rollers when it's something with a super critical cut but truthfully...
you need to pinch the line coming from your cap top then fill with cleaning fluid then put heads in home position and crank the cap tops back up and let it soak over night .
(turn the machine off so nothing moves)
we normally just have the kids and grand kids so shouldn't be an issue but with that said and not to start a long drawn out thread of what's right and what's wrong but...
my house ...my rules
(also agree with Gino, that last paragraph ...good stuff right there..haha)
hope everyone can enjoy the...
one last important thing, saw mentioned above about getting quotes another good point and throw in with that who ever you go with find out about their tech support.
nothing worse than having a machine down and they can't get to you or can't get parts quickly.
yeah i would say that vinyl is fine provided it sticks to the wall. like already posted test the vinyl on the wall.
i would even use oracal 651 for something like that and no issues (in my experiences. also provided it sticks)
we have 3 roland eco-solv print cut machines and love them. they are relatively low maintenance (except for a huge amount of issues we had with our newest model the truvis but got that cleared up and plenty of threads on that) we also have 2 HP latex printers they seem to be pretty reliable also...
we have a fuji, acuity UV and a roland LEJ uv. for whatever reason the fuji inks don't stick as good as the roland inks with coro.
we have big uv dryers we use for silk screening and with the acuity prints we sometimes have to run them through the uv dryers to give them better curing.
plenty of floor vinyl out there but if they are going to clear coat over the top it doesn't matter what vinyl you use at that point.
(on a concrete floor i would probably use a high tack vinyl)
i would be more concerned with how the clearcoat will react with the vinyl and ink.
the vinyl could...
we have a roland LEJ good machine for the price point. not built for speed and really the main downfall is friction fed so things can skew occasionally.
also 2 sided print can be a problem because of that. again for the price point good machine. ink sticks to pretty much anything
