why in the world would you need to apply wet?

we laser cut 1/16" offset patterns out of posterboard or cardboard and use those for placement. I am assuming you dont have a laser though since Gemini did the letters. On that case low tack vinyl applied with letters offset and cut out works great.

sorry but I stopped to see the mimaki print 3 different times and there were issues every time....

No winner yet.... just spent the last hour on the phone with reps from all 3 companies.... CET is shipping 5x10's in the next 6 to 8 weeks. That I have confirmed. If I order I will have a unit before year end.

CET released their 5x10 machine @ SGIA....

Warranty is neck and neck..... I think the CET and Jetrix units both have great support. Flora may also, but I have had any experience with end users that use them.... CET may edge Jetrix in that they will show me how to take care of my own machine in the event that we have a problem.

Looking at the CET, Flora, and Jetrix. Assume the configurations I am looking at all print roughly the same boards per hour.... 1) The Jetrix 2030frk is a demo model that I can have installed in a week. That gives me roughly 4 to 6 weeks of making $$$ when I would be waiting for the other...

As a rule of thumb, you can use cast laminate over cal. vinyl, but not cal. lam over cast vinyl. obviously cast / cast and cal / cal are fine....

Kornit..... thats the way to go.... we run all of our stuff on a Breeze.... great printer!!!!

Convex or General Formulations Moto Wrap. Surface needs cleaned with degreaser and alcohol prior to install. 3M primer 94 also works wonders on dimpled plastic although some of the people around here are scared to do it.....

We web our machines a couple times a day and have never had a need for a knife near the rollers.....
