  1. Font ID check.... please.

Not sure, but you could use Trendex Cond, Avant Garde Cond, or Ed Gothic as a substitute.
  2. One of those days...

Ya, well I lost $10,000.00 yesterday to a pastor in Nigeria!
  3. Font Id Help

Gah! I knew that looked familiar. WTF, WFI, nor the "Find My Font" software picked it up.
  4. Laying down 210 Lam

Well that was interesting. I just finished laminating two 4’ x 4’ prints with the 210. Visualizing it beforehand I could tell that my helper would only be able to grab the centre point of the liner, and given that it’s so thin, the far end would be drooping down and all hell would break loose...
  5. Font Id Help

Ya, crazy, it seems so familiar, but I got nothin'.
  6. Laying down 210 Lam

Yes, but I stock a cheaper cal (for the cheaper, shorter term jobs), and a premium cal for the longer term jobs, so I wanted to know what to replace the premium cal Oracal 3651/210 combo with in the Arlon line-up.
  7. Laying down 210 Lam

No offence taken. I think it all depends on the size of one's business. For me, I'm a one-man show, and not a hi-volume shop, and in the last 1.5 years of having my printer, not having a laminator has been just fine. Thanks for all the replies.
  8. Laying down 210 Lam

I found the video. The comments below it seem to indicate that this 2-sided tape method is practicable on ~30" wide or less. Looks like I may need to switch to Arlon.
  9. Laying down 210 Lam

Compared to the LG I was using, it's very thin, including the backing paper.
  10. Laying down 210 Lam

What is the equivilent to the 3651 / 210 combo in the Arlon calendered series?
  11. Laying down 210 Lam

I’ve switched from LG print vinyl & lam to Oracal 3651 and 210 lam, but I’ve noticed that when laying down the 210 lam onto the vinyl (using the Big Squeegee method), it is not possible without having someone lift & pull the backing paper. Right at the start, the moment the face of the lam...
  12. SP-540i bent nozzles?

Have you had any head-strikes lately? Was the machine left off for a week or more? Have you tried printing a flood of 100% K, say a 24" x 50" rectangle?
  13. SP-540i bent nozzles?

I'm no expert, but have you done all of the various feed/calibration settings?
  14. Font help please

Abwechselnschrift Bold......? for the "a" anyways. Or perhaps DIN Mittelschrift for the other letters.
  15. VW message

    Great - thanks.
  16. VW message

It was set to check upon each start-up. Changing to weekly has caused that message to not appear. I guess we'll see what happens in a week's time. Why would this have suddenly started happening? Thanks.
  17. VW message

All good. Powered off & on the router. Still get message. The printer works, but would like to get this resolved.
  18. VW message

I'm getting this message when opening VW: "A connection with the server could not be established" :help
  19. Mystery serif font

Thanks, that makes sense, I couldn't find a darn thing.
  20. Mystery serif font

    Any ideas on this one?
