It isn't Tekton. I dunno what it is.
  2. TIF gone bad

A customer supplied me with a PowerPoint file, which I saved as a TIF. It showed up (and printed) like this in VersaWorks. Why? What happened?
  3. Test Print means what?

My rep was by a couple of weeks ago, and tried a few things (like drawing ink through the head), and did some info print-outs and sample prints and took them with him to discuss with Roland. Haven't heard back yet. I asked if the K head could/should be replaced due to the fact that I haven't...
  4. Digital Magnetic?

Thanks for the replies. MassSign&Decal: As I said in post #7, I would not attempt to cut the mag material on the machine, I'd cut 'em by hand with a rule. I'm also just speaking about using this stuff for fridge magnets, not vehicle mags. BTW, what would you guys charge for 1000 2"x3.5"...
  5. Digital Magnetic?

1000 is 24' of 24" wide mag. That's like 24 12"x24" vehicle mags (12 pair), and the fridge mags take much longer to make with all the cutting, so if priced based on material use and labor, fridge magnets seem like a lost cause, because nobody will pay that much for them; instead opting for the...
  6. Digital Magnetic?

While we're at it, how the heck can the various on-line places offer fridge magnets so cheap? 1000 business card size for $150 - $250!
  7. Digital Magnetic?

I would foresee cutting by hand, but I can see how the lack of heat would be an issue. Maybe that's why they make it so thin.
  8. Digital Magnetic?

Why is it easier when you can print directly to the mag?
  9. Digital Magnetic?

    Could you explain why?
  10. Digital Magnetic?

I just saw some "digital magnetic" material on Proveer's site. I assume that you print directly onto it, as opposed to printing on vinyl, and then applying to mag. Anybody had any experience with it? (I'd be using my Roland SP540i)

Agreed. We inherit our genetic make-up which predisposes us to longevity (or not), but that can be altered positively or negatively by diet & lifestyle. In any event, it's biochemistry.

Correct. But the advantages & benefits of regular, moderate exercise are undisputed.

    Sounds good buddy.

And where did I do that? No, you're seeing what you want to see again. Would you Gino kindly stop inserting your massive ego into my threads? You're as abrasive as a hardwood floor sanding disc.

But that "card dealing" and storage of said cards requires the conscious act of doing so, which requires a conscious being. It's a very odd and backwards way of looking at reality, where everything is "pre-planned". This simply is not so. If it were, and say your "time" is November 12th 2016...

So let me see if I got this straight; I make a post about the importance of a decent diet, someone else chimes in with a supernatural claim about how it doesn’t matter due to predestination, which I fairly and reasonably express as untenable, and I am the one stirring the pot?!? Your narcissism...

I understand what you're saying, I just think that that idea/belief is untrue. It looks at the entire scenario in a superstitious manner, where there is an entity outside of the gritty reality of the goings-on of organic life, working strings like a puppet master. There is no good evidence or...

With all due respect friend, this is completely false. Citing the rare case like Mr. Fixx, or an 85 year old smoker, is a logical fallacy. The fact is, if one employs moderate exercise rather than a sedentary lifestyle, and a healthy diet rather than a poor one, one will not only live longer...

I'm "off the back" this year. I didn't ride for about 3 months this winter, due to a variety of reasons, so have a lot of catching up to do (and you know how fun that is). I did a 86 km group ride Saturday, and did ok, but my high-end is lacking. Being 50 now doesn't help either, but I have...

Thanks Dan. Yes, always must be sceptical, but it's widely known that sugar intake ought to be limited.
