  1. Need Help Mimaki Cjv150-160

yes, you need to check all of the ink path from the cartridge dock to the damper to make sure it is all clear. Also check the lines from the cap tops to the pump and the lines in the pump and to the waste. If you let me have your email address I can send you over the service manual
  2. Need Help Mimaki Cjv150-160

You need to remove the hose completely from the printer, so disconnect from the damper and the cartridge dock, and take the hoses out so you can work on them away from the printer as it is very messy. Get a big plastic syringe where the tip will fit tightly into the hose, then refit them once...
  3. Need Help Mimaki Cjv150-160

You can also use this method to clean out a blocked pump rather than replacing it
  4. Need Help Mimaki Cjv150-160

What you will probably find is the lines are completely blocked. When left the ink can either dry solid, or it has the consistency of oil paint, so cartridges won't flush it out. The best way is to completely remove the lines from the machine and either replace them, or to use acetone injected...
  5. Error 110 AND Temperature Too High error.

Ok if you have done the head and cables then the carriage board would be the next thing to try. This should be the correct one : https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/193310970342 as the part number is the same for the 540i ( I don't know this company as haven't bought from them, but they seem legitimate...
  6. Need Help Mimaki Cjv150-160

It is also a risk as you can't see it printing before buying, so you don't know if anything else is wrong with it. I would get it powered on and run a test print, it won't actually print anything, but you can see if the printer is sending the correct signals to the head so it thinks it is...
  7. Need Help Mimaki Cjv150-160

If it hasn't been powered on for two years it will need a new head. Probably why it is cheap. Add 1000 Euros on for this. Plus the other things you have already mentioned.
  8. Error 110 AND Temperature Too High error.

I would see if you can find a used carriage board and swap that and the head cables over and see if that fixes the problem. Is a lot cheaper than replacing the head. Avoid the new boards advertised in china as they aren't genuine Roland ones, they are copies so you never know if they are going...
  9. Is it good idea to print stickers on pigment Canon Pro-4100?

To be honest, if you want to print and cut stickers, get a machine designed to do that. If speed is an issue, lots of people run multiple print and cut machines ( a business I used to do their servicing for ran 5 Roland SPs ). Just load up the job, set it going and wait until it's finished...
  10. Is it good idea to print stickers on pigment Canon Pro-4100?

The canon may print quickly, but then add on the time for removing the vinyl, laminating it and then loading and cutting on the summa. A print and cut machine would probably work out quicker and a lot less hassle. Also if you print in solvent inks then for most jobs you wouldn't need to laminate...
  11. Error 110 AND Temperature Too High error.

It would also point to the print carriage board if you are getting the 0110 error as the linear encoder sensor that gives this fault also plugs into this
  12. Error 110 AND Temperature Too High error.

Which printer? If its not the head or head cables it is normally the print carriage board above the head has gone faulty, this is what the head cables plug into and transfers the thermistor signal to the main or servo board ( depending on model )
  13. 3D Cube structure need produced

Probably the reason 3D printing companies aren't getting back is due to the size and cost of production. The problem with 3D printing is it is so slow ( not sure how much quicker industrial machines are, but I'm betting not much ) ! Most companies probably couldn't do that size anyway and to...
  14. Cutting Strip SG2-300

I'm not sure sorry as I haven't used an SG2 for printing, only done repairs on them. It may be you can't do 1200x1200 with custom profiles and need to set one of the standard ones instead. Personally with Rolands I never bother using custom profiles, or the vinyl manufacturers ones that often...
  15. Competitive Pricing

Another option would be to board the gate in large panels. The vinyl could be installed to them in your shop, then just take the complete panels to the site and bolt them on. Would cut the install time down to a few hours Would also use a lot less vinyl as its a flat surface rather than...
  16. Competitive Pricing

Doh missed it was both sides ! But by flat I meant an easier install then having to wrap a comlplicated thing like a truck which can take alot longer
  17. Competitive Pricing

It does very much depend though on what other people in your area will do the job for. If he has people quoting half that then you are too high, if they are quoting double then you are too cheap. You have to fit in with your local market to get the work
  18. Competitive Pricing

Thats over $50 sq/foot for a flat surface install. I would say that is pretty high. 80 ft of materials, two men working for one day ( max ) to install. How many hours are you putting aside for design work ?
  19. Cutting Strip SG2-300

That should be fine. Sometimes they sell them on longer lengths so it can be better to get one of those as you can then cut it down and more than one strip from it
  20. Is it good idea to print stickers on pigment Canon Pro-4100?

How are you going to contour cut them if people want something you can't just cut out with a ruler and knife? The Canon printer is really a poster printer, not for printing decals
