I haven't sold a 24 pitch EMC in well over 10 years. If you could find one like that it probably wouldn't be any less expensive than a 10mm full color these days. The last time I priced a single color display it was only a few hundred dollars less than the full color. You may find an older used...
I've tried to help clients who want to retrofit their old cabinets but I haven't found a good resource where the sizes are comparable because of different pitch sizes. I normally approach them with a whole new display. I don't end up selling many because they are expensive.
All components...
I agree with eahicks. A lot of people that complain about the price of removal that's such a good deal on the front end because they didn't use the proper wrap vinyl to begin with. That's not your fault. I usually hand them a little chisler and tell them they're welcome to start themselves...
I am removing the graphics off of an old food trailer and reapplying new since it has sold. I am looking for a solution to get all the grime off of the powder coated sides before I reapply Graphics so it will look better. In the past I have used Simple Green and LA's awesome cleaner, and it sure...
I'll sure do that. Wasn't aware of him.
I did tell the client that redrawing would be expensive. I've worked for them before they agreed to pay for it. Sometimes even though they agree spending the time is also an issue.

A logo that I'll need to reproduce in Cut vinyl. UGHH!!After about 10 and a half hours I have almost got it redrawn. If you've got the W I could still use it .
I'm right there with ya. Considering the cost of service/ repair, hard-to-find parts and maybe a tech its looking like that may be cheaper in the long run.
that's exactly the case. When they stopped updating drivers for my Roland plotter past Windows XP I called and asked about that.. Roland actually told me if they kept providing drivers no one would buy new equipment.
Depending on the job I sometimes request a indemnification of liability. Because you never know who was there before you, and the overall condition of the sign including how it was installed (especially ones involving neon). That's smart business... if you don't get the job it's better than...
It was through the state Workers comp, who does the audit so that wouldn't be possible. As a sole proprietorship I had that option, as we all should have the ability to choose to do so. It also depends on the overall amount of your portion of the job. The GC accepted it and all is good, that way...
I've used Rapid remover ( the orange smelling stuff) and even a rubber wheel when necessary. I had to re letter an entire fleet of tow trucks after a ownership and logo change (about 35 trucks) and some had been lettered for around 10 years.
I went to the state workers comp office and paid a fee (I think it was $50) to decline workers comp for 2 years. I was working as a sub for a contractor during a mural project when I did this so you may be able to do the same for a GC workers comp requirement imposed.its worth checking out...
That is odd. I haven't been able to run mine for contouring. It broke down before I got my printer. Mine won't power on now. I have a tech coming to look at it and my printer as well. I'll keep you posted on what he says about mine.
I have been able to find pinch wheels on Ebay for a substantial savings. If you have the Roland part # you may be able to find them. I lost a clip when taking the old one off and replaced the shaft with a bolt, washers and a nut. It's been working perfect for years.
I have one of these myself. Not sure if it needs a main board or what. When I power it up the LED screen flashes once and then intermittently very slowly. What is your machine doing?
Yeah. There's really no recourse you have in dealing with a merchant overseas, except the rules they have in that country. I am leery of sending a wire transfer to someone anyway. With today's ways of payment that are protected there should be a better way to do business with them in order for...
