    we have 5 roland printers and 4 people who can use them at any time so we have a pc on each one to run the rip. just easier this way no one gets in anyone's way and no slow down in production.

    i think back in the olden days in school they told us that the tm or reg mark didn't count when centering your logo or text. i do it how ever it looks best. sometimes you have to adjust because it's too close to some other art or the edge of the material

    we are not open on weekend but my boss and i often work on sat and or sun so if we are here and we can help out a customer we do. we are in an industrial complex so we don't really get walk ins. anyone we help out is generally a current customer.

  14. putting edge or molding on aluminum composite

    making a hanging sign for a customer. hanging with straight arm sign bracket. the sign it self will be aluminum composite. just wondering if anyone puts an edge cap or some sort of molding on a sign like this? if so is it just for cosmetic purposes? also what do you use? thanks

    there is a transfer tape made for air agress liners. don't remember the name but fellers has it. for really small lettering just leave waste material around the lettering and apply the transfer tape then weed it off of the transfer tape. for small quantity it's not too bad.

    depending on your machine i think there is a way to do it on in the menu. another way is just keep a sheet by the machine and log how much material you use each time you run a job
