More than likely it's the customer that doesn't know what he's talking about. Had an old boss one time that knew absolutely nothing about computers but came up with some of the most convincing names for things that were so close to sounding correct, yet weren't. More than likely your client is...
I used to use 3/32'' bits for cutting small stuff, tried 1/16'' and ran through a ton of them and then Hartlouer suggested using the 3/32'', worked like a charm. I was routing 080 alum. faces which is probably a lot different than what you're doing. You do however sacrifice a "little" detail...
Yeah, this has been around for several years. If I remember correctly it was an American inventor, maybe he sold it to the Chinese and made a ton of money for a really neat concept that just isn't practical. Practical application of this idea would require something like a huge 3-D router...
We set our compressor outside (fortunately our router room is against a exterior wall) and piped it in. Can't even hear it when it's running. And the Perske spindle is really quiet compared to our old PC router motor.
Flexi doesn't play well with others. Our router operator downloaded a trial version of Flexi a few years ago and it did the same thing to the Omega 2.1 on his computer, fortunately it was long enough ago that Gerber was still supporting the software. It didn't hurt the dongle Gerber said Flexi...
What a extraordinarily Creative idea GG. At times like these words feel so futile and inadequate. You've come up with a perfect solution:loveya:. He will be missed.
:U Rock:Geno, you're amazing. The reason everything's out of whack.... Chinese don't read inches too well, they use the metric system. Plus the little Chinese grandmas they've got doing all the slave labor don't see too good anymore.
Aluminum "Propane" tanker. I'm thinking aluminum may not be what they made the tanker out of considering the pressure involved in storing propane. Are you sure it's not stainless? And if it is I really don't recommend putting vinyl on stainless, been there done that, nothing but a pain.:cool...
Please forgive me, (I'm probably opening up a can of worms and won't be able to show my face around here for a while) I'm not sure how much experience you have with larger lighted signs but and don't know if you've gotten up there and taken a good look, since you said approx. on the sizes...
10 to 1 odds this is your problem unless Gerber has changed a lot in the last few years, definitely does not like to play nice with other software. Don't get me wrong, I was exclusively Gerber for about 15 years and color management was one of the reasons I had to start "playing" with Corel. Now...
You don't say what software you're using to generate the EPS files. We send to Rasterlink from Corel and Photoshop with no problem. I would definitely try different file formats first, I'd be willing to wager RL is having problems with your EPS files. We fail to realize sometimes some software...
We've found color output has more to do with your rip and/output program. If you're using the Rastlink that came with the printer we're had much better luck printing out of Illustrator or PS. Wasatch, who writes Rasterlink for Mimaki uses a PS color engine or is based off Adobe as I understand...
You send them your drawings and measurements and they build it to your specs. They use 1'' alum. square tube and weld everything together, stretch the fabric and deliver it to your door, pretty slick. We've got the equipment to build them but they can do it cheaper and more cost effective in the...
We've used Illuminated Image in Indiana for years and have been very happy with their work. Not necessarily the cheapest, but about the best and consistent quality I've seen:cool:. I'm sure others on here will have others they use.
I didn't get back here soon enough, you've already made all the changes I was going to suggest.... except one. For some reason "Golf Course" in the same script as Timber Ridge really bothers me. Might try something like this or a variation.
