LC/LM has been replaced. It automatically did a print which I assume is the alignment, and prompted to recalibrate.
Recalibrated and also did ICC profiling, which seemed OK. Tried printing a test of the Pantone 430C I've struggled to match and the printer did it's startup and 'preparing to...
Thanks, I tried this before leaving yesterday I created a profile from scratch using the settings from the 3M profile, but not copying it. Ran through the full process and the colors are slightly different, but not closer to being accurate. I also got an Error 79:04 while performing an alignment...
Yes,
I was told it was a good idea to do on each new roll of media and I've continued to do that, as well as when the printer prompts that the calibration is out of date on any medias that we only print occasionally.
While attempting to diagnose this issue I've also run calibrations from inside...
Thanks, I'll give that a go. When we first got this printer I really felt like it matched colors much better. Maybe it's just the colors we are printing or something has changed with the print media. Both IJ180c V3 and Oracal 3651 Clear have been real problems recently.
I'll start by saying the vast majority of experience in wide format printing has been working in small shops with Roland printers, and printing with either Versaworks or FlexiSign, so there's a good chance I'm either overlooking something obvious or was just never trained in the proper methods...
I'll give cranking the heat up a try. I did try upping it by 10 but that didn't have any result. Extra passes caused the colors to go totally nuts without recalibrating the color (which I think would just be worse with the on board scanner)
External meter - Yes, I'd like to have one of those. I...
We've had a pretty good experience so far in the time we've had our HP Latex 560. It certainly does some weird things now and again and wastes a lot of media on loading, but otherwise has been a huge improvement over our very old Epson S40675.
Currently I'm working on 3 jobs that need to be...
Ours isn't blazing fast, but we are using 5+ year old Dell Inspirons on a 10/100 network, and often working with multi-gig files. If you've got modern hardware I'd check for other conflicts or resource stealing applications, then maybe consider a fresh format and reinstall of just the required...
Fusion360 is going to be your best friend for this. It's free for startups or businesses making less than 100K from their 3D work. Wonderful modeling tools, sheet metal, and fabrication tools as well.
We went from an Epson S50675 to an HP 560. The HP has been great and basically maintenance free. The fine detail we get from this machine blows away our old Epson. The S50675 wasn't nearly the machine the S80600 is, but the black and white images that come out of the HP are very impressive and...
I assume the software and support will be good, but it is more akin to a nicer version of the Anycubic Photon than to the Form2. It uses an LCD mask + UV LED combo (MSLA) rather than a laser to cure the resin. This has advantages in speed for full build plates since it can cure an entire layer...
3d printing. ahhh now there's something I can relate to. I run a small side business 3d printing various prototypes and end use items. All of my printers are FDM, but I've done a ton of research on the SLA printers. The Formlabs printers are VERY good, but also expensive for the tiny build...
I'll confirm that the newer gen latex machines are basically maintenance free. We've had ours for a few months now and it's almost worrying how little you need to touch the thing. I'm used to bi-weekly ecosolvent cleaning for roland and epson machines, but the HP 560 just does it's thing and...
I've been working at shops that used either solvent or eco solvent for about 15 years. Earlier this year we got an HP Latex 560. It's been a bit of an adjustment, but I've been thrilled with the speed and consistency. A few of our materials aren't compatible, but it's fairly easy to find...
I'm a pretty big Joe Rogan fan, but more so for his podcast than his stand-up (though that is also good). He seems like a guy who became successful by working hard at his craft and now spends his time and money following anything that interests him. Fitness, bow hunting, psychoactive substances...
Give it 5 years and everything will be delivered via VTOL drones. No need for an airport when they can launch fleets of the things off of the roof of the local amazon hub. Place an order from the main warehouse, once a van loads up enough orders it heads to a smaller hub where you can pick up...
Wish you the best of luck.
We just replaced our S50675. I had no idea anyone else even owned that machine, since we could find so little info on it. Ours had a fault with one of the capping station motors where it locked UP and couldn't release to allow the heads to move. The quote to fix it was...
