If printing paper is important then buy a water based machine, far easier to work with eg no drying issues like solvent on paper.
I epsons are good but maybe too slow, i know the roland RS640 can be run with water based inks and maybe some mimakis?
VS640 has a cutter
The white ink problem is mostly sorted because it recirculates preventing the lines from clogging - same with the metallic
IMO id go the roland - more versatile
The updated adobe RIP should make ripping a bit more reliable but thats all iv noticed

Not sure why the page linked at the top of this pages says DVD release
Anyone tried the error diffusion halftone?
for getting a machine to do what you want i can see an advantage to that but it also gives you the chance of making one hell of a mess if your not concentrating!
I know when we print photo paper it dries far slower than vinyl - basically untouchable for 24hours without marking it
vinyl is dry as it comes out the machine
versaart with eco sol max
Problem with 1TB drives and Raid 5 is that because of the size the number of errors are higher than the raid can handle so there is something like a 33% chance of loosing the whole raid when you loose 1 drive
Raid 6 is a better option these days
1 million surely is way out of the digital market
Pad or screen printing would be the only way imo
With that qty it would almost be best to get the manufacturer of the scrapers to print them (especially if made in china)
take up reel is the best investment you will make :)
Very few jobs have i printed and not used it - disadvantage is if you have a print and cut machine you cant use it
thanks
Thought that might be the case
transfer tape will be needed as they have a few bits that need to be kept together
Will be my first try at applying anything to a car (we mostly either just print and cut decals or apply to basic things eg A frames etc)
