  3. I think my PNC-1000 is printing coords

I remember when I first setup my PNC-960 I was getting errors from the pinch rollers not being aligned, also make sure your material is covering the sensor.
  4. Surveillance Sign <O><O>

Thanks to all for the suggestions. It can't get more basic than this.
  5. Surveillance Sign <O><O>

    Exactly, thank you very much.
  6. Surveillance Sign <O><O>

These signs are going on a light brown wall and are only 8"X12" so I'm trying to get the most out of the size. I know this is as basic as it gets but something just seems weird to me, can I get an opinion on what's wrong.

---------- hi, i´ve searched over interenet, even signed in roland forum for you:-) i´ve got a reply from a profesional, so i hope it may directed you in the right direction. it is: Roland does not have a Mac solution for the PNC-960, but does for the GX-24/300/400/500 cutters. You may want to...

  9. Mac Users, Parallels Question

Parallel to USB adapter, Belkin brand, not the Keyspan. I had no problems installing the HP driver that comes with XP.
  10. Mac Users, Parallels Question

I'm giving Parallels a try(XP) and having problems installing Roland drivers. I get to the point of selecting the machine and my choices are blank, seems especially weird because I can cut from Corel with the HP GL-2 driver fine. I've looked over the Parallels forums and couldn't find anything...
  11. Some of my work

I hate wraps, but these look great. Makes me want to buy a printer.
  12. Redundant Lines

So it is as tedious as I thought, at least I'm not the only doing this. It can be hard to remember what lines I've already deleted, having to undo, select, deselect on and on I guess that's the way it is. And you're right, this is a problem from importing from another program, and most likely...
  13. Redundant Lines

I'm trying to make this file plot ready using the pathfinder in AI. I usually use "outline", then select and delete the lines that shouldn't be there, make it a paint group without a stroke and save. In this case the lightning bolt has about 4 paths on top of each other with broken segments in...
  14. Firefox - Downloading Dilemma - HELP ?

Would reinstalling Firefox take you longer than 4 hours? I'm guessing about 15 minutes should do it. Export your bookmarks, delete, reinstall and only use the add ons you actually need.
  15. Photoshop tutorial

I can't speak for the Photoshop tutorials but lynda.com is the site I used to learn what I needed to get started in Illustrator. Long, boring and repetitive but after a couple days the info really stuck. But really, the basics of Photoshop should be pretty self explanatory considering you have...
  16. pnc 960 with mac

OP, how could I not see that option? Its the first thing that comes up when opening any file, and still I've had that problem.
  17. pnc 960 with mac

I can't see anything wrong with just using Corel, my only complaint is sometimes certain fonts with a lot of nodes get weird. The plotter shakes as it stops at every node and sounds like it would eventually rattle apart, I've had the edges of vinyl look almost blurry.
  18. pnc 960 with mac

    What software are you using?
  19. pnc 960 with mac

Just read your post. This is exactly what I'm afraid of.
  20. pnc 960 with mac

From what I understand from reading, not from experience, that Flexistarter Mac has the drivers needed and another program called MagiSign has the pnc-960 on the compatibility list. Your also going to need a parallel or serial to usb adapter, I guess a company called Keyspan makes one that seems...
