Anyone out there experiencing vertical banding on their L25500s lately (we are obviously)? And I mean newly experiencing it where you never had a problem before, maybe since doing the latest firmware update.
It's the 21mm bands that they introduced the vertical correction feature for in...
I'm looking for someone who can install two 8'x4' sign comp aluminum frames and sign faces. Side of industrial brick building, 20-30ft off the ground. Very straight forward, the height is the factor for myself / the customer. Feel free to shout it out or PM me directly. Thanks.
Has anyone gone from an eco-solvent machine (any make) to using HP Latex machines then abandoned the HP to go back to an eco-solvent machine? I'm talking about having first hand experience with both and then opting for an eco-sol set up?
We aren't abandoning our HP L25500s, no machine can do...
Interested to know if anyone out there has tips on producing double sided window clings (digitally printed). Has anyone run cling vinyl back through their machine? 'Laminated' two pieces of cling together?
I noticed in some past threads there was discussion about laminating adhesive vinyl...
Posting this in the HP section but feel free to ring in.
In general, how much of a hassle is it for you to remove liner from media like mesh or flag after you've printed?
I'm running an L25500 and it can be a lot more difficult to separate the liner after printing. I attribute it to the...
Have you found a material that works well for you as an inner blockout lining for double sided flags? Tyvek gets mentioned often. Any suggestions or things that have worked for you?
Has anyone used Xign by LG on their HP L25500 latex machine. I know xign is a good product in general but any tips would be greatly appreciated before I burn through a roll getting the setting right :) ...cheers.
Anybody had success printing on fabrics on their HP L25500. I know die sub is the norm for fabric, but l want to see what this baby can do!
Two things I'm looking to try are flags and backdrops.
Ultraflex seems to have both a flag and then a heavier weight, but wanted to see if anyone out...
Thought I'd throw this out there. Anyone ever tried cutting an entire roll of stock down to a particular width. For instance, those of us with our crazy 60" wide HP latex machines often find ourselves stuck between a 54 and a 63 inch roll. Yes, we can get some material in 60" or some suppliers...
Question to the field: how often do you get banner vinyl where the scrim is skewed at an angle? I've got a new brand of banner vinyl I brought in and the scrim runs across the 54" width at about 15 degrees in a bit of a wave pattern.
I've attached a pic. The black lines show the right angle...
Looking for some recommendations on scrim vinyl banner media for our L25500. Used13oz Bannux by LG, got 3 rolls from our dealer gratis when we got the machine, but it doesn't lie flat on the platen and the carraige assembly catches the edge...crash! Anyone out there have a favourite they can...
