It HAAAAAD to have the Tesla in it This is hilarious! I know it’s not perfect, but I had to draw the line somewhere with the amount of effort I put in compared to what the job was paying. I appreciate the feedback. I have it stored away in my head for the next one! Thanks guys

  5. It’s been a while. Here’s a couple recent ones.

Well, it’s been like 8 years since my last post on here. I went back and looked at some of my old posts/ work and got a pretty good laugh! I will try to post more often rather than waiting 8 years again. Here’s a couple logos I recently finished up. Finally got a digital drawing tablet and was...

  8. Acrylic Panel

.220 I have a few things in my cart. Everything is local delivery from Philly... except the panel, which is freight from Owensville, MO. I'm in Lancaster, PA.
  9. Acrylic Panel

I need an 8' x 4' sheet of clear acrylic. Grimco wants $120 just to ship it, so I'm trying to find it elsewhere. Suggestions?
  10. Odd Job

First off, this is not a sign work, but it involves the same process. These are ice hockey goalie masks. I've played my whole life. and a buddy of mine asked if I was interested in painting his mask, so I took it on as a 'for fun' project to do on my own time. I ended up posting photos on my...

  14. Alley Kat - help needed

Well.. bringing this thread back from the dead. They had originally planned to renovate this past winter, but that was put on hold... because of that, the new logo was also postponed. The good news is... 1. they decided to come right back to me to pick it back up. 2. The original plans were put...
  15. Louis' Family Restaurant Sign (before/after)

I also agree about the hours. Tough part is they are pretty set on keeping things the same as what is already there. I had a real hard time convincing them to get away from brush script... I can't imagine trying to make them change their overall plan for the signs.
  16. Louis' Family Restaurant Sign (before/after)

Thank you to everyone for the suggestions, I appreciate the time taken to offer a little help... with the exception of this post... Thanks for all the help BOB! :notworthy:
  17. Louis' Family Restaurant Sign (before/after)

There IS actually a light grey shadow on there, but you can barely see it now that I uploaded the image here. There is also a bright green stroke offset to the inside of "Louis'" I also feel like it needs something more. Maybe I'll try going with a little darker grey drop shadow.
  18. Louis' Family Restaurant Sign (before/after)

This job is in progress, and this is where I'm currently at with the design. Thoughts?
  19. Best way to tackle this job?

You could see that the paint sort of bubbled in areas... meaning there was some kind of chemical reaction which removed the paint. Again.. I should have taken some photos to share :banghead: Now that I think about it... 'That last guy' could just mean they tried to do it themselves and screwed...
