  1. CM-300 cutting strip

Wide Image Solutions have one in stock. They ask 24$ for it (I'm fine with that) but 90$ for shipping (!!!) It's a non-sens for such a small part...
  2. US Tariffs, Sigh!

There was an announcement today from Express Sign Products (ON & AB) that clearly mentioned the products we use from USA will no be affected by actual tarrifs. For the moment. So if you're experiencing a price increase from your canadian distributors because of so-called tarrifs, that might be...
  3. US Tariffs, Sigh!

What's wrong with Quebec? Asking for a friend...
  4. CM-300 cutting strip

Thanks for the info. I'm just back from the website... tried to buy the recommanded part... 29.83$ (US) + 47.90$ (US) for shipping... 77.73$ (US) is 108.01$ CAD Kinda expensive for a small strip of plastic...
  5. CM-300 cutting strip

Folks, a friend of mine still use his old Roland CM-300 30" plotter but the cutting strip is really worn out. He asks me if I can look around to find him one (old fart, 'doesn't speak english). I have contacted a bunch of canadian suppliers / Roland resellers but nobody had one collecting dust...
  6. US Tariffs, Sigh!

Damn I'd like to be better in english to be able to see sarcasm from true statements (my brain tells me women are even fatter on the other side, they even fry their emotion and eat 'em with mayo)...
  7. US Tariffs, Sigh!

Thank you Ikarasu for clearing out my point. I'm french-canadian so when it's time to argue with proper words instead of using "bad" ones, I already have 2 strikes against me. We can clearly see who he voted for. It's his right but I think we worked better with USA under previous presidents...
  8. Looking for rear Ford Transit window template

Better to print a slightly over-sizes image, cut by hand flush and use 1/4" laminate to seal it on glass's edge. The 1/4" inner gap wouldn't do it here at my shop (35 years in business) Just saying
  9. Help creating this vector bevel

Might also be a cheap free font somewhere. The lighting is non-logical so it looks weird. I do that kinda effect on a regular base for unit numbers (vector) and it's very easy if you do it the right way.
  10. US Tariffs, Sigh!

Trump has more bankruptcies to his records than hair on his head. Please don't drink everything he says, he lies every 2 sentences. He's not a great businessman, he left many workers unpaid, he getting all veterans against him, he never paid his faire share of taxes... c'mon be realistic, you...
  11. US Tariffs, Sigh!

I think the gun problems we have now with firearms coming from YOUR SIDE is a million times more important than the Fentanyl coming from Canada. If the drug can enter in USA than it's on your Border patrols. The forementioned 1% Fentanyl coming from here can barely be traceable vs. all the...
  12. US Tariffs, Sigh!

200-300% tariffs is BS... Damn it's way lower than that. Trump is shamelessly lying on that. In 2018 he claimed he has signed an historical deal with Canada and Mexico and last week he was raging against the fucker that signed the worst deal ever made on USA's back. H E D I D I T...
  13. US Tariffs, Sigh!

As Canadian (Quebec), I thought we were good neighbors. When north-eastern states have electrical issues after snow storm or tornado, we are always there to help. When there's fires in California, we send water bombers and firefighters to help. We supply electricity to New York and Vermont...
  14. VersaWorks Gradient Help with Roland Spot Colors

I'm working with Roland printers since 2004... with Wasatch in the ol' days and now with the most recent version of VersaWorks. The success of printing gradients have always been 50/50 depending on colors selected. I found out that the major issue is Flexi's gradients handling. I always had...
  15. VG3 Color Profile

Colors are even more "alive" than PMS also due to white point of vinyl vs. stock paper
  16. VG3 Color Profile

Reason why I love my VG2-540 with OEM inkset, printing with Generic Vinyl1 and True Rich Color2. Using this since the day it has been installed. No banding, nice vivid colors, blacks are BLACK / reds are RED, oranges are ORANGE. Sure there's few tweaking here and there (black 0 0 0...
  17. Would like a li'l help...

Thanks A LOT Bro. My searches led to nothing so I'm very surprised it didn't pop before. Seems like a very appreciated / popular font to me.
  18. Would like a li'l help...

Here's a file sent by a customer that he wants on his semi's doors. He designed it long time ago and cannot find the original file for font. I can deal with printing his file but would like to find the font used in order to generate a contour-cut (too many logo to print to cut 'em by hand) Do...

To RapidTac rep. Why does my RapidTac gallon comes with mention "mfg in Kamloops, BC (Canada)" and not your other products?
