We receive emails from them fairly regularly and it seems to have some really useful info ... so I was just curious if anybody has used HotelMarketData.com and if they recommend it for the price you pay for the yearly subscription or if its better to avoid? Any thoughts?? Thanks!

I second that ... I haven't worth with Gene too much yet, but he is always really quick about getting pricing back to me, and the quality of everything I have seen from them is really nice!

Haha oh yeah that's the other thing ... he told me he is an engineer also, and he can build this whole sign for well under 10k ... I was laughing the whole trip back to the office.

I just met with a potential client last week who is the property manager of an older apartment community and he requested that we design him a monument sign that is 2 stories high in a gloss finish with waterfalls coming out the sides and a large screen embedded in the top so that he can display...

Turned out really nice! I still can't get over Ken not doing wet installs. :P

Very nice Rick! Your quick mock ups just perfectly sum up what everyone here has been saying ... that is the advantage a real graphic designer brings to small post cards and designs like this! Adtechia has probably taken way too much time on that design already, and its a project that should...

Im with everyone else on this one ... probably best to remove the side logo and just keep the clean text! I keep seeing it and thinking its another word or something ... just distracting. Oh and John, that's a funny as hell sketch!! :thumb:

I agree with a lot of the suggestions above ... fix up the spacing on the type face - remove the red all together or use it only as part of the focal point - remove the stars on the phone number - also, on your white text along the bottom add a little drop shadow or black outer glow to help it...

I have seen a lot worse around ... damn those fast food workers trying to take our jobs!! :P

I was going to say that is looked like an incredibly cheap, standard newspaper ad that you see tucked away in the back pages of the free college times ... but then I read you were somewhat going for that look so I suppose job well done. :P I would find a new design inspiration though...
