Did the print feed test and everything checks out fine. The measure on the left side of the media was 250mm right on the dot, while on the right side near the console it was about 250.5 or something like that. Not really enough to make a difference. Meanwhile, my nozzle test is showing that yet...

Well, I tried a head soak, and it didn't really work. Those same two nozzles still aren't firing. Is there anything else I can try without taking the machine apart or calling Sign Warehouse for customer support?

Nozzle check generally looks fine. Out of all the individual jets, I only saw one on the black that was slightly misaligned and two on the magenta that failed to fire. Everything else was perfect.

So I'm printing with this brand new VJ 1204 that we've only had for about 3-4 months now, and our very first magenta cartridge is finally nearing it's end. The machine is giving me the "[M] Ink Near End" message and constantly beeping. We've already got the new cartridge to replace it with, so...

I'm experiencing a very similar issue with my Mutoh 1204. The only thing is, mine isn't even 3 months old yet. We've barely even used the thing, and we haven't done any large jobs at all. Could it really be giving me equipment problems this early? EDIT: I'm listening to it print right now...

Any particular suggestions for this Avery media in particular? It's a 2 mil cast gloss white vinyl made for inkjets, the kind with grey adhesive and air egress. Or at least that's what the Fellers catalog tells me. The Orajet 3951 material seems fairly similar, so I think I'll try that one first.
