we have plenty of current and new software, but i dunno. i turned off auto-updates natively. just do a google search. you dont ever have to update. i haven't updated my pc at home for a year. yea, they are all going to come in at once if you decide to do it.

there is no reason at all to get windows 7. at all. windows 10 is great. wayyyy better than 8. windows 8 is the windows ME of today. backward compatibility for older programs. turn off auto-updates. we converted our entire shop (20 computers) to windows 10 from 7 and XP. Zero issues...

where there is ink, it will lose quite a bit of the reflective effect. from my experience.

it looks like some sort of clipping mask that magically appears in files. we do some carmax banners that do this. we just raster it and print.

i've only been using latex for about 1.5 years and from what i know, they made these simple to run for everyday people, so customizing settings can be cumbersome and you waste a lot of material vs a traditional solvent printer. all i can say is test test test.

I started with eco-sol at my old job, but we use latex at my new job. these machines are not made for production. i call them garage sticker printers. it is slow to load/turn on i hate that both the take-up and media roll have to be on a spindle, but thats more of a personal preference...

Rumor has it that the owner of rolls-roller and cwt are related and decided to go seperate ways. I have both, i prefer my CWT because of the variable pressure.
