So we do a LOT of HVAC fleet vehicles. This issue seems to be more prevalent with this industry...But after a year or two, everywhere the driver of the vehicle touches the wrap (around door handles and along the top of the bedsides on pick ups) the wrap starts turning brown. I have assumed it...
Double checked my info.....we used an avery, matte, cast lam previously. So maybe the 3M 8520 will work better with overlays. We will give it a try! Thank you!
We are wrapping a side x side with a wrap that has a matte overlaminate. the customer wants some stripe overlays in a gloss finish. In the past I have had issues getting wrap to stick to 3M matte overlam. Anyone know a good combo for this, or done this successfully?
Has anyone used the template for the Maverick from Motorsportstemplates.com?
Was thinking about ordering the template, but I am not always happy with the fit of the kit. Often I just build my own. But if anyone has used this particular template, I would like to know your thoughts.
Thanks!
So I went and looked the the scratch. I left a long mark along the top of the graphic that ran across the side of the truck. The truck is black and has scratches everywhere. The one I left, while long, will buff out with some compound I believe..... *whew*

I had a customer just call (a good customer too), saying that he just removed an old wrpa we did to sell the truck and has found scratches in the paint from my trimming. This wrap did require some hand cutting on the vehicle. I am sick to my stomach right now and need to go view the damage. Has...

Thanks for the replies :)
I have wrapped only one vehicle in the last few years that had cut graphics that required transfer tape. Obviously, transfer tape does not conform well to the curves and channels on vehicle. So the install was very challenging! When I got to a curve or channel, I had to tear back the premask and...
So a local school needs some menu boards to hang on the wall. They want 4 boards that they can swap out easily. I was thinking about just applying vinyl menus to PVC/Sintra board and mounting those to the wall. I am leaning towards mounting some type of channel to the wall that they can slide...
I am currently printing banners on Forward Banner from Grimco. The banners look amazing!...BUT, if I drag a fingernail across it, or a squeegee, the ink seems to scrathcn rather easily. Anyone else have this issue? Any suggestions? What results have you had printing banner on your latex printer...
I am trying to install etched glass vinyl on large office interior windows. The windows are 56" x 72". The customer was concerned about the estimate when I quoted him using 3M etched Glass. It's the only roll, other than General Formulations brand, that came in 60" so that I would not have...
