I can "feel" your pain in your notes. Sorry I did not read all the suggestions, but here is something you can try short of creating profiles.
#1 Is printer inking properly? Simply try to print C,M,Y,K, squares.
#2 Completely un-install Raster 7 and go back and install latest...
No way to match the "metallic" look of screen inks with digital inkjet. Screen ink uses real flakes and large pigments that will never be able to go through an inkjet nozzle. ALL manufacturers sell a "metallic" option but just is not the same look.
Lamination :) optimal lamination occurs with a minimal combination of FOUR things: Pressure, heat, time, and tension. Typically with shrinking film, especially after a short time many times there is too much tension on the feed roller. Should be a "dial" which controls a spring on the feed...
