I would say the Summa being misaligned needs to be fixed as I have cut rolls of contour cut stickers without any issues on our 30". If we had not bought a Zund, I would have gotten a larger Summa. I will say though I much rather cut on our Zund as is it crazy fast but they are not cheap.

I use showdown displays for flags all the time

We typically back them with etched vinyl on the back side of the glass. Tends to look better than white vinyl and so far where we have done it they have liked it.

add a humidifier that will cut down on a lot of static. We have one hooked through the HVAC and works great for our print room.
