Thanks i will post on there. Waterslide transfers slide off the backing card when put in water. Its ultra thin and great for models or vehicles. The uninet seems to allow white base layer and colour on top so in theory we could use some clear waterslide paper and print the design and the white...
I've been looking into the Uninet 540. So you wouldn't recommend. I also buy screen printed transfers but these are mass produced. I'd like to add custom waterslides to our range where customers can order as little as one sheet
Hello , i'm looking at adding digital waterslide printing to our services and have come across this printer which has dedicated white. Has any other company got this machine, what is it like to use? I'm thinking of leasing, has other leased this one before?
I have a roland PC-600 Colour Camm Pro which has been working perfectly today. When printing it jammed and since turning off and back on it doesn't print foils anymore. It prints as normal but when i check, it is not transferring the ribbon to the vinyl? Anyone have a fix for this? I ahev a...
Hello. Recently my CJV has been dripping yellow ink onto media. I did some head cleaning and can see yellow ink droplet builing up on the print head itself. Is this a damper issue? Test print is perfect and head is only 2-3 years old? Its started to turn some of my prints more yellow. Was...
I did, apparently the banners they supply are from a third party source and they dont offer any profiles for it. Although I did print using MD5 Matt PVC profile with fairly good results in the end.
The thing is we have used this media for a while and always prints fine. It's not like it's a new faulty roll, we are half way through it. I've taken some more images. Nozzle is printing fine, but all colours are printing bad. Also these are all eps vector files so quality is normally pefect.
We use Metamark MDC using their profiles are sometimes 3M profiles. Always 720x1440 and 34 passes and uni directional. We've always used this media with no issues so seems odd to me. Could be it a temperature problem due to how hot it's been here the past few days? I've just changed the halftone...
I have a Mimaki CJV150 which had a new printhead installed last year. Has been working fine up to about a week ago. The Test print shows that all nozzles are perfectly fine but the print comes out very grainy. Has anyone got any tips?
Hello i'm wondering if anyone can help me. I have a Roland PC-600 Colour Camm Pro that recently won't change over to the next cartridge when printing multiple colours.
i.e. it goes to print red first but then when it's time to print blue or gold after, it doesn't put the red back but instead...
Hi there, I keep getting this error message. I've cleaned all around the wiper blade and part it slides on and even greased it but still getting this message. Does anyone have any tips or should I just get it serviced?
Hi all, I currently have a Mimaki CJV150 solvent printer. Ink Configuration is CMYK Lb Or Si Wh. We run a small vinyl transfer printing business and the printer doesn't get used every single day. Usually about 4 days a week. Because we run the business from home, we have to turn the printer off...
Thanks for the responses. The gold package does cover on all parts including the printhead which is about £2000 alone. But they are asking for nearly £2000 a year including VAT for this warranty. The silver package covers labour and parts charged at 25% discount with slightly less call-out...
I have had a Mimaki CJV-150 printer for 2 years now and its warranty is about to expire. I can get a new care package through the manufacturer/supplier however that is really expensive per year. Do other companies that sell these printers offer extended warranties?
