Lexan has a side that is UV resistant and a side that isn't. I wouldn't just flip it around. Another thing is that your hanging strips will be on the wrong side if you flip it around.

Personally I use Adobe RGB but I also have a monitor that can render the Adobe RGB color space. Many monitors can't so in effect if you're using Adobe RGB on a monitor that can't render the full Adobe RGB you're basically working blind with some colors hence the suggestion to use sRGB just to be...
For starters, do your design and layout using sRGB - that's what your RIP expects and works best with. Then try R-222 G-0 B-0. That should do the trick.

I'm supposing that the reason there are an abundance of noob questions is likely due to the name of the forum/board itself. In academia "101" is generally accepted as being for beginners. I can see how a noob might be easily confounded as to why there are so many smart alecs/snark sharks on a...
For all of those that suggest, "Use the search function on this board before you come charging in here demanding an answer," I have this to say, "Have you ever actually tried the search function on this board?" It sucks!

Hotspur - very good explanation! A few years ago when I first started using a wide format digital printer I had trouble getting my head around colour management. Did a LOT of reading and research and made the the switch to working in an RGB colour space letting the properly profiled RIP do the...
