Hey signbrad ! Thanks for the detailed response. I always enjoy reading your responses to other threads as you do always go the extra mile to help!:toasting:
By "usual steel straps" - I do mean the ones traditionally included with the hardware - so yes the screwdriver-tightened style clamps...
Thanks again DL Signs for the tips! That's a relief knowing the hardware is universal, just wanted to be sure. Lol I don't think I'll be needing to hang a car this time around.... just some good 'ol 18oz!
DL Signs - thanks I appreciate that! Just to be sure we're on the same page - I'm used to using the hardware in the image attached below. Do you use similar hardware and do you have a different method or approach when you're dealing with Square vs Round poles or just really make sure they're...
Hey all,
I am wondering if anyone has experience mounting Pole Banners to square poles. I have only dealt with round pole installations before... I just don't see how the usual steel straps would get as tight a fit around corners. I was thinking of using the Wall-Mount plate style hardware with...
FINAL UPDATE:
IT'S ALIVE!!!
It looks like it was indeed a bad Junction Board that then damaged the Servo Board somehow. Another big thanks to damonCA21 for his prompt responses and fast service! I received the parts very quickly and they were packaged well. It is a great feeling to be back...
UPDATE: damonCA21 Was very helpful and promptly set me up with a good price on both an OEM Junction Board as well as a Servo Board - so I'd like to thank him here! Will post results when those parts have arrived.
netsol - Oh I know that cable very well.... Especially for all the wonderful Pinch...
UPDATE - I made a grave error in swapping those Junction Boards and cables... Now all of the original issues I had on the broken printer have begun to occur on my other (originally working) unit...
I guess this would mean that there is possibly a fault in the bad Junction Board that then sent a...
* Also realized I should mention that even with the working Junction Board in the broken Printer, I am still getting the CLOSE COVER problem I I try to boot up outside of Service Mode. I have also attached the new Sensor Check result
damonCA21 and netsol Thanks for the tips!
I have another fully functioning SP-540V and so as per damonCA21 's advice I swapped the Junction boards. This fixed the head slamming on the unit that is not working. It also reproduced the 0010 Motor Error and head slamming on my working model...
Hi all,
I am encountering some issues with the Head Carriage on my SP-540V. When it returns to the Capping Station, it doesn't hit the breaks and slams into the Control Panel sidewall, leading to a Motor Error of 0010. After this occurs, the Head is loose / unlocked. This error also occurs if I...
Is the Perf a separate outer shape to the Kiss Cut? If not, most people (myself included) aim to get their cut settings dialed in just right so that the shapes hold enough for the feed action, but pop out easily / cleanly when the batch is done. Perf action slows production down and puts more...
RE: Outgassing - what they all said.
Another very important question: Do you normally maintain and service your own machines? If so, Roland is working very hard to stop you from doing just that on new models. This post is definitely worth a read
If not captops or dampers, could be a cracked manifold. Leads to dropout and gets worse over time as the connection between the damper and head isn't sealed properly
