  1. Laminator question

Stacey - Thanks. I was thinking that would work fine for applying the adhesive to one sheet. It just wouldn't give me the ability to adhere 2 of them together since the thickness it says it can accommodate is this: Maximum Laminating Thickness: 0.7"(17 mm). Do you think I could at least get .75"...
  2. Laminator question

I am looking to get a laminator to put rolled adhesive on the back of 4'x8' sheets of rigid material that is 1/2" thick. The adhesive is peel and stick so it will leave the release liner on the material for the customer to then remove when they install the material. I also would like to use it...
  3. HP FB700 New (and used) Ink profilers failing

Hello all. Over the long holiday weekend, my FB750 ran out of white ink again. This machine seems to eat the white ink. Anyway, I can't get it to fill the ink reservoir and won't fill the heads due to this. I primed the new box. I have been filling the ink lines. When I try to prime the ink...
  4. Fb500 shop vac

I have purged 4 times and so far with no errors. Also have tested a handful of times with the vacuum test on the machine. Got the 1000W step down on Amazon for $59 and used the Craftsman $35 2.5 gallon wet dry vac (smallest I could find) from Lowes since the original one was 8L. Had to wire the...
  5. Fb500 shop vac

Thanks for the reply. That is what I came up with too. Didn't find any posts that anyone has done this successfully, but the tech I work with says he has another customer that does it, but he said he didn't know how. Seems like it should work. Can't seem to find a vac quite this small, but got...

  10. HP FB700 New (and used) Ink profilers failing

Thanks for the suggestion. Got the white to work, not sure if a fluke. They filled if I did them individually. In regards to the profiler, they are 3rd party. It won't work. I put the old one that is at 5% back in and it still works fine. So you think the chip is bad? Ink company hasn't...

  12. HP FB750 UV Shutter Error

Hello. New here. I have an HP FB750 and I am getting this error: A-UV-32 UV User-end shutter error. User-end shutter failed to move. Note: I got it few times and I would clear it and could go on and print. Now it happens immediately and I can't print. I have unplugged, let sit, then restart...
  13. HP FB750 carriage leaving ink dust on media

Hello. New here. Have had the HP FB750 for a couple months now and are up and into production and have a question. Every morning with the first print the carriage leaves ink dust on the media the same distance back from the leading edge. I am assuming it does this when it measures the...
  14. HP FB750 Need Help Printing on uneven surfaces

I assume you are familiar with these printers. I got my first bag of ink today. It said the magenta was below a percentage low, so I put the new one in and the new chip, which for some reason said it is only at 80%. The old box seemed fairly heavy and sloshy so I opened it up and it is somewhere...
  15. HP FB750 Need Help Printing on uneven surfaces

Thanks. I think I figured it out today. It is a dense felt so softer than PVC. I set the thickness higher than the material. The only issue is the ink isn't uniform on the dimensional surface and if I turn it the other way the small wheels on the bar want to push the material.
  16. HP FB750 Need Help Printing on uneven surfaces

Hello. I am new here and recently acquired this printer. I am trying to print on an uneven surface with the FB750. I select a height that is the over the height of the highest part of the material, but then it measures the height itself and seems to lower it. It is then lower than the material...

  18. HP FB750 white printing

New here. I recently purchased an HP FB750 and was told it came with the white printing option. Unfortunately it didn't come with the White Ink Homogenizer / Shaker and the White Ink Option Key. Does anyone know if this key is the same as the ink chip you get when you purchase white ink? Or is...
