2 Step Verification?

Is spam really that bad that we now have to have 2 step verifications and have "secret" codes to login.........

There has been some really fishy activity on the site. Inactive members were clearly hacked by a spambot, and now it seems active members are getting their accounts hacked/closed/whatever.

Once a spam bot gets a username they figure out the password because most people use WEAK passwords so no hacking is needed for the bot to figure it out.

Ah, so it wasn't just me, I just had a conversation on FB with sign101 about this, now it's working, hmm.
