2'x10' HDU install on angled roof...

Hi, Everyone..

i have a HDU sign that needs to mounted on a roof. the brackets are 100 inches APART. (this feels like a lot of play for a 10' HDU sign. i am going to mount in the back, a 1.5" high by 97" long aluminum L bar for rigidity, centered..)
my question is how to mount that bar on the back correctly?
i own some west marine 2 part epoxy, so, that part makes my life easier, right?
drill some holes along the back of the sign where the bracket goes, mount some studs in the back with epoxy, pour some along for the the aluminum frame, and mount up?
thoughts?
suggestions?
a raising of the beer glass?

I'd build some type of full frame for the back and attach with mechanical fasteners along with adding 2 more angle brackets.
To meet code in our area wind load needs to be figured at 30lbs. per square foot.
Call me Captain Overkill, but I am deathly afraid of litigation. I also like to sleep at night.
