Hello, was wondering if there is a easy way or tool to match a vinyl code or # to a pantone color #

I mean we need to know which film but there’s Pantone charts out there. I have books of them for each kind of vinyl by 3M. Here’s Opaque.

thank you, the 3M code i have is 3630-51 silver grey

3630-51 is PMS409C

 

[IDB Signs]

According to the above PDF, 3630-51 is Pantone 403C, and the 3630-71 is the 409C.

oops, read the wrong color. 3630-51 is PMS 430C. 3630-71 is the 409C, sorry.

You can't hold up your Pantone chart to your Vinyl chart and compare??

You need to check with your 3M supplier. They can get you like a sample chart for their colors
