700W stuck preparing for sleep mode?

Has anyone experienced your 700W/800W getting stuck on preparing for sleep mode? The only way to get it unstuck is a hard reset. We are running Flexi Complete for RIP. My gut tells me its something that Flexi's Production manager is causing, perhaps an IP issue? We do have static IP's for our HP Latex machines, but perhaps I dont have something configured right. Searched the web for a solution but did not find anything related.

Did you ever get this resolved?

No and I am still not any closer to figuring out the hangup. Firmware and flexi is up to date and still get stuck trying to sleep.
I doubt it is Flexi because I am seeing the same behavior with it connected to the Caldera RIP. Seems that if it is left on over the week end it will stuck in sleep mode. I changed the timer, will see if that makes any difference.

Curious what's the start of your serial number MY** ?
You ever get any errors? Might need to check the log for silent errors.

We're having the same issue, which we haven't experienced prior to the latest firmware update. Some days its running normally, however, most days its now getting stuck on the 'Entering Sleep Mode' screen and the blue status bar just goes and goes and goes, so we have to switch off the power from the back of the machine. So ANNOYING!!! And it's also not running its standard self maintenance cycles due to this error.

many hp products can be set for "verbose" mode, which will swamp you with pointless error entries, but, possibly you will see the one you need.
not sure where you set this, if it is an option on your machine

I've got the same issue, been like this for months. Doesn't always get stuck on it but annoying when it does.
Also means if this happens when I'm on holiday it will not do it's usual cleaning cycles.....
The latest firmware has made no difference to it either. :(

I have a 630W, and during the initial installation we faced several issues. First, there was a cyan ink leak in the printhead tower; the warranty service replaced all the ink tubes in that section.

Another problem was frequent print interruptions due to printhead failures without any apparent reason. The white ink was not recirculating between the IMB and the cartridge, and we also experienced the freezing issue that others have mentioned here.

HP eventually decided to replace the entire unit. The new one doesn’t have as many issues, but it still stopped twice reporting a carriage jam, even though there was no real obstruction. We also had to replace three OP printheads that were marked as damaged.

HP support told us to use the printer without the vinyl side support plates, claiming that could be the cause of the repeated printhead failures.

Honestly, I feel like lately HP users have become the beta testers for their plotters.
