AGFA Anapurna M4F - printing crooked

So, we have this dinosaur AGFA Anapurna M4F - and usually she works like a champ. Lately, it's been printing crookedly, though. We've messed around with the belt (all good there). It seems like the media set bar is off by about 1/8", though. Anyone know how to straighten that up? The manual we have isn't much help.

Encoder strip ?? Is it a little fuzzy ??

Sounds like a bad/dirty encoder strip or encoder strip sensor.

So, what did the problem wind up being?
