It's been a tough year for my wife and I. Thirty years of "little hurts" and the bitterness that's been allowed to fester can sure do a world of damage.

I'm thankful to say we've gained tremendous ground over the past two weeks. We still have rough waters ahead, but at least we're in the same boat and on the same deck, and holding on tight.

This time of year has always been a challenge. But for the first time...in a very long time...I'm looking forward to an awesome Christmas with my lovely bride.
