Saw this wood sign I hand lettered about 15 years ago.
The client gave us the salvaged boards and we used them unfinished as requested.
Battened on the back, cut the ends and handlettered.
It's holding up OK and gave him the vintage look he wanted.

The great thing about the vintage/retro look - you don't get complaints when it ages!
