Question Ants and HDU

I have to replace some ant-infested wood sign panels in a stone wall and would like to use Duna instead of wood after I treat the area with insecticide. I've had issues with carpenter ants in foam insulation and foam roof panels, but haven't been able to find anything online about HDU and carpenter ants. Has anyone had issues with HDU and ant infestation?

Unfortunately, ants of all kinds and especially carpenter ants, love urethane. They love the stuff. As for wood, they don't eat it, but burrow through it to make nests. They create burrows to travel, but they remove the wood, they don't eat it, like the foams. Borax is a good eradicator, but it takes time to do it.
