i have a copy of flexicut 5.6 that we got in 1992 i think.
i used it with a gerber SMC4 (before the 4B) and the gerber LMK (lettering machine kit 9 pin serial interface)

so i may have you beat by a year (although i am sure you know more about flexi than i do)

have you ever had a job where everything goes wrong? from printing to cutting to install? that's what happened on Friday/Saturday. We had installers who put graphics in the wrong spot on the vehicle. but it didn't matter because they all fit. (the were words in the corners of the box truck and the words got placed in the wrong corners. no biggie and the customer didn't care). another installer put the wrong graphic on the back of the vehicle. and my plotter somehow got unplugged. (an empty core fell against it and knocked it out). It was a comedy of errors and no one was laughing. LOL
