Any Plans?

Since V-day is so close, I thought I would see if anyone has any plans Thursday evening (or the weekend since it is on a "school night").

Or is it just "another day, another dollar"?

Just my annual pilgrimage to the chocolates store to wait in line for half an hour in order to procure white chocolate dipped gourmet strawberries for my sweetie.

If all goes according to plan I will hopefully be headed out to the mountains for a snowboarding trip with my boy.

A good weekend seeing as Monday is the statutory holiday of "Family Day" here in a couple provinces.

We have that too, but since our pilgrimage takes 8.5 hrs to get to that particular chocolate store, we usually have to wait until it's vacation time.

I'm afraid she'll just have to settle for my cookin.

No snow here. We did get snow for half a day and the rest of the day was it melting. Hopefully, everything goes according to plan though, sounds like it should be fun.

I dropped $50 on dinner Saturday night. Around these parts, that's big bucks. You know it's fancy when you can't believe how much you paid for so little food. I should be good for the rest of the year.

Made this rose out of stainless steel. Took about 30 hours, and still have to weld on 4 little leaves right under the rose. Is it sad that the first project I've posted on signs isn't sign related at all?

Very nice.

What I did is attached. Sequins and bear embroidery were done on the embroidery machine. Hand embroidered the "X"s and "O"s. Machine sewed the applique and the rest of the pillow cover.

Five more miles down I-70 and you can be at my shop. I know you don't like to eat in front of strangers, but if you're here around lunch and want to hook up, the wife and I can break free. Great fish store among other eateries at the Centre Market and also an art expo.
