Anyone ever use: Natron® XF Inkjet flushing ink solution??

A universal inkjet cleaning solution, works on UV printers.
What do you use for flushing/cleaning your UV inkjet heads???

Mostly the cleaning/flushing solutions the manufacturer of the ink or the head recommends. I use acetone as a last chance sometimes.

We always keep a gallon of acetone handy.
typically we mix 10-15% acetone in with the manufacturer‘s flush or cleaner (this is typically ink with no pigments). Afterwards be sure to flush enough into your waste bottle to get acetone out, protect seals, lines moving parts.

”whacking it” with acetone has saved many marginal heads. It will dissolve much of the solids causing clogged nozzles, but if you don’t flush with an absurd amount of butyl carbitol (for eco sol inks) the solids will just set like cement when the acetone evaporates.

I am NOT SURE what Solvent or carrier to Use.
generally I request the EPA data sheet for the inks & see what active ingredients they have to declare.

THE OTHER ingredients are just declared as INERT which is why buying a container of their cleaner & adding either the acetone or MEK is a good starting point.

for $600 a chinese knockoff of the printhead doctor is a good investment,
better than running the wrong cleaner through all the plumbing and pumps on your machine.

on eco solvent you can end up with leaks or air leaks
I IMAGINE on UV you could end up with pinholes in the black lines letting light in CAUSING MORE CLOGS

Ok, I'll try the diluted acetone as a last resort.
Currently soaking 2 DX7 heads in the Cleaning/Flushing fluid. I also injected some into the printhead nipples

I have a similar problem with a Roland SolJet Pro III XC-540. It uses DX4 printheads, and several are clogged because the previous owner left the machine unused for a long time (around two years). Could acetone work on them? The most difficult colors are yellow and magenta. I’ve read that acetone can dissolve the internal adhesive and completely destroy the printhead

Yes Acetone can eventually dissolve many plastics and finishes, That it why the guys above that say they use it, Also say that after you use it flush it out relentlessly until you are sure there's no acetone left.

At some point many (most ?) heads are NOT recoverable.
DX4’s are fragile. a head that has been abandoned and sat for months will never come completely back to,life
we have had very good results with the printhead doctor and a solution with 10% or so of acetone.
the print head doctor does it’s best as a maintenance device, treating a head that is still producing an “acceptable”;print

the reason the printhead doctor is effective is the ability to flush/reverse flush at low but adjustable pressure.
a little gentle ultrasonic cleaning and a bit of gentle heat really helps.
BE PREPARED you will destroy some heads. It is not a miracle worker

EVENTUALLY creates the impression you can leave an acetone solution in the machine for quite some time
this is not really true.
overnight perhaps

i can tell you for sure i have solvent welded pumps in machines that do not isolate the inks/cleaners in a solvent resistant hose
seals can go bad and start leaking... it's a good idea to run twice as much cleaner WITH NO ACETONE as you feel is necessary

Tomorrow Roland is giving me access to Peck2 software remotely, so I'll install the head that's been soaking for a couple of days and see if that recovered it.
Using the DX7 head (dealer told me you could run sand through that head it's so durable) lol
