Banding in RED only?

Why would I get banding on only red tones? Everything else comes out great

I don't know to much but what does your nozzle check look like?
If it is ok then you might want to print the head alignment test pattern and see
if it is still registering correctly.

I'm printing on Prismjet gloss 48" media but running the oracal 3651 profile. I think that was the closest one I could find to it.. any thoughts?

Yes, really.

Dot gain banding from too much ink too fast with not enough heat for that color.
You can try raising the heat
Or slowing the printer down (another mode/resolution/more passes)

Thank you. How do I slow it down? you mean by increasing the resolution?

First change it to UNI directional from Bi.

I've been trying different setting and still get banding in my reds. Its pretty much only in reds and shades similar, orange, etc. Heres a picture of whats happening.

Thats part of it. If my printer sits for a couple days I need to pull ink through the lines from the waste end.

It gets much better once I do that.
