We generally use contact cement to bond our panels but most of our work is for interior use. Can someone recommend a good adhesive to bond ACM and Komatex to make a single panel. These will be large panels close to 4'x7'.
You need an adhesive that bonds 2 diferent type of materials plastic + aluminium that can let each material to expand and contract to heat and cold independently.
for this you need to buy methacrylate type of adhesive (usually is bi-component).
if you use cyanoacrylate the komatex will crack because is a rigid adhesive. (but you can use it for initial glue from spot to spot to secure the material in the shape, and with methacrylate you fill the whole perimeter)
West system x20, adhesive epoxy, comes in tube that fit in chaining gun dispenser that mixes it together. Put blobs around and thin bead around edges put materials together with weights on top and next day they are bonded
