Brand new to onyx and getting print error

Hey, After running Versaworks and a single print/cut machine for 12 months ive acquired a dedicated cutter (FC9000) to speed up my work flow. After also having to upgrade my old computer ive downloaded Onyx Go and everything's gone well.

I realise theres alot to learn but i wanted to just run a simple print and make sure Onyx is talking to my VS540 printer. Everytime i hit print nothing happens and after afew minutes i just get a "Printing Error" in the lower section of Onyx?

I cant figure out whats wrong, im getting the green light for printer online.

Can anybody point me in the right direction?

Thanks

I cant seem to get the IP address test to work. Im using the port9100 port name and my ip address which i found in command prompt but it just comes back with "No valid IP address found!

The printer has an ip address in it which worked on versaworks but it doesn’t work on this one. So i can change the up address within the printer itself?

If it works on versworks then it should be ok, but you also should be able to ping the printers IP in command line and get a response if it is on and communicating

In a printer environment you should have your router reserve IP addresses so is not hunting for your printer address, computer address or assigning addresses.
