Question Brushing Aluminum

Matt Trudeau

New Member
Hi All,

I have a job coming up that will require about 295 pieces of brushed aluminum (then anodized) plate. Normally we just do this by hand since we never usually have quantities this big.... Trying to think of a way to save time on this one, since it doesn't seem that you can buy pre brushed aluminum (In Canada at least)

Any ideas on how I could speed up the process?

We have a large belt sander that we usually use with 100 grit and then finish with red scotch brite.

Any help would be appreciated.

Find someone with at least a 50" drum sander. We had a guy who built his own 14' drum sander. Made beautiful work out of our redwood signs.
