Did you try to just open a new doc. Then place the file with the link box checked. After that flatten transparency and move the slider on vectors to 100% and check convert text to outlines.

I have some CS6 files that I just tried to open in CS2 and it worked.

Has anyone ever used fiverr.com? It's a site where you pay people $5 to do things for you. We've used them for file conversion or image alterations.

I just like the idea of what we can do here. The other day someone converted a Corel file for me and today I was able to convert a file for someone else.

Pay it forward....

Also it may be more work sending the $5 than the actual $5 cost. Now if there are other things they do for you..... although for $5 it may not be good...
