We have been printing wraps on an Epson S40600 with Avery 1105 and 1060Z gloss laminate. We’re trying the same media combination with a Canon Colorado M3 for the first time.
We are printing in Gloss Specialty mode to avoid banding.
The graphics are full ink coverage.
Issues encountered
-The color distorts when the 1105+1060z is stretched even a little bit
-The 1105+1060z is more brittle and tears easily than when printed with eco solvent prints
-We get red artifacts around air release holes near rivets when heating prior to rolling the rivets
-The uvgel printed 1105+1060z isn’t sticking to rivets gracefully after heating and rolling.
Is there anything we should be doing differently with this ink and media combo?
