We set this up for quick color matches for "most customers" in your shop. I realize the purist's heads are gonna spin, but this is a simple way to do it if your customers are looking for a pretty-darn-good color match. Hope it helps!

What really makes this tool useful are the customization options in the settings. You have complete control of the grid size (number of swatches across and down) and the sheet size, which minimizes waste if you're printing on 54" or 60" wide media.

I frequently have to match paint swatches. This will definitely save time. Thanks Gene!

I keep a batch of these printed out for each printer in the shop. Its amazing the difference of values even between similar machines, but I can definitely see the solvent ink hitting cools better and the latex hitting warms, and no body likes greys.

You did a print to PDF? That's interesting. I have not had that issue. Could it be how you are saving/printing as PDF in your browser dialog? Otherwise, you should be able to download the SVG file and use it in any vector graphics editor.
