Color

Does anybody know any good places to learn all about color profiles, correction curves, etc? Also, I've noticed how Colorip will tweak the colors to make them appear similar to how they do on the print when I bring them in to be ripped, is there a way to do this with my normal monitor?

Tech School perhaps? I learned a ton when I went back. Slowly getting set with equipment to put all the color control theory to work. Best part is I can always ask one of the instructors if I get stuck.
