Contour Cut Vinyl and Substrate

Hey guys...working on an exterior sign for an ice cream shop. When the guy originally described to me what he wanted, it sounded like just vinyl letters on a MaxMetal substrate. Last night, I found out that he wanted the letters AND the substrate contour cut. I'm using 3mm MaxMetal with aluminum on both sides (I did this for stability). Can someone give me an idea of the best way to cut this? Jig saw with a metal blade??? Razor knife??? Thanks for your time. David

We use a Bosch variable speed barrel grip jig saw with Bosch fine tooth blades.(set speed on 3 to 4) I can't think of the blade part number though. I know I have used their laminate blades to cut Di-Bond. Works slick. btw I set the blade to "orbit", think that's what the book calls it. It makes the blade(as viewed from the side)move in an oval motion. Sounds dumb but it really cuts super. Hope this helps.
